Cleated Livestock Trailer Flooring
Light Weight :: Strong :: Clean :: Easy to Install
Extends the Life of your Trailer
PolyCleat flooring was developed to address the problem of heavy trailer flooring. It is stronger, lighter, and easier to clean than competing products, all while extending the life of your trailer. With its anticipated lifespan, and 20-year warranty, you won’t find a more cost-effective flooring option.
Light Weight
PolyCleat flooring is less than half the weight of rubber-based flooring and is also lighter than wood.
Rubber Flooring - 2 1/4" x 8" board = 7.4 lbs/ft
Treated Pine, 2x8 - 1 5/8" x 8" equivalent* = 4.9 lbs/ft
PolyCleat Flooring - 1 5/8" x 8" board = 2.8 lbs/ft
PolyCleat will save you from hauling almost 1,000 lbs. of dead weight wherever you go.
For comparison, using 33 planks that are 78 inches long in a 24-foot trailer, PolyCleat flooring weighs 604 lbs., while a rubber composite floor weighs 1,597 lbs.
Full or empty, maximize your payload by eliminating 1,000 lbs of flooring!
*2x8 wood is only 7 1/4” wide
Super Strong
PolyCleat flooring is constructed from our proprietary blend of industrial-grade, high-performance 100% post-consumer recycled polymers (hence, PolyCleat).
It will not crack, splinter, or rot, has UV protection, and can withstand temperatures as low as -40 degrees before becoming brittle. It is impervious to nearly all commonly used solvents and other chemicals and does not absorb manure or urine.
You might nick and ding our planks, but our 3/4” cleats will stay intact, provide your livestock with support, and will not wear down or break off over time.
Watch the video below to see a strength comparison of PolyCleat planks vs. rubber composite planks.
Easy to Clean
Our most common compliment is how easy it is to wash off our flooring.
It is non-porous and does not absorb or cling to debris and manure, so cleaning is dramatically faster than wood or rubber composite products and can be as simple as driving through a rainstorm or brushing it out when it’s dry.
If you are used to cleaning for 40 minutes with a pressure washer, our planks will take less than 20 minutes to clean off. This is the timesaver you’ve been looking for!
Super Attractive
PolyCleat flooring is crisp and clean. The cleats line up for a neat, finished appearance.
The ‘shine’ you see is from the manufacturing process. It does not affect grip and wears off after the first few uses.

Easy to Install
PolyCleat is designed to mimic a 2x8 and cuts and drills quickly with any standard woodworking tools.
The metal bracing underneath can span from 12" to 16”, and the flooring should be screwed down along the planks to the steel support beams below, just like wood.
The legs run the entire length of the plank, and the groove lines on top indicate where screws should be inserted so they pass through the legs underneath.
Depending on livestock traffic and usage, planks can be placed in an aligned or offset pattern to give more or less space between cleats.

Aligned Pattern

Offset Pattern
The aligned pattern is achieved by lining up our logo in the same direction on each plank.
The offset pattern is achieved by turning every other plank so the logo is in the opposite direction. It’s as easy as that!
Just like wood, always drill a pilot hole and use self-tapping screws. You can also leave a .5” to 1” gap between planks for cleanout.

Extends the Life of Your Trailer
PolyCleat flooring has four legs underneath, so it does not lie flat on the trailer frame like wood or rubber planks.
Minimal contact with the metal frame helps reduce trapped moisture and debris that can cause the steel to rust.
The unique design of four legs supports the plank and reduces contact with your steel
